Description: Philipp Jäckel, Senior Manager eCommerce and Direct Marketing (Allianz Insurance-AG), is supporting AMANDLA EduFootball through his expertise in business administration, marketing and networking. He has a keen interest in the “sport for development” sector and helps the organisation to grow on a professional level.

Position: Deputy Chairperson & Accountant
Description: Robert Fischer has many years of working-experience as a chartered accountant and specifically in the accounting and auditing for Non-Profit organisations. Having him on the AMANDLA EduFootball board enables the organisation to develop a professional financial reporting system.

Position: Joint-Managing Director
Description: Florian Zech co-founded AMANDLA when he was 20 years old. Since then he is the driving force behind the development and implementation of the organisation and programmes. He acquired additional skills in General Management and Business Administration at the University of the Western Cape. He is seen as a perfect example for AMANDLA’s strong belief in youth leadership and entrepreneurship.

Description: Jakob Schlichtig achieved his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at the University of Regensburg in 2009 (Major: Marketing & Entrepreneurship). Due to diverse internships, he gathered experience in the administrative body as well as in developing sustainable business strategies.

Description: Franz Biebl is studying Political Science, International Law and Sociology at the University of Munich. He is supporting AMANDLA EduFootball in the PR, Social Media and Administration departments.

AMANDLA's target demographic is youth staying in residential childcare facilities in South Africa. Exact figures on how many youth are currently placed in residential facilities is not available. However, according to the Children Count ZA institute 18.6% of all children in South Africa are orphaned which does not include children in need of care due to alternative circumstances.
